HG Group has officially released the new Solar 3B3 [PV Generator]series, covering six models from 10kVA to 60kVA. The single-cabinet system brings together a PV inverter, high-voltage lithium battery storage, an online UPS and intelligent battery management, targeting farm, ranch and remote off-grid or weak-grid power scenarios where grid quality cannot be relied on.
The series is built on thyristor phase-controlled rectification, a standard output isolation transformer and dual-DSP digital control. Power flows from the PV array and battery through a shared DC bus into a pure sine wave inverter, then through a static switch to the load. The cabinet enables 0 ms seamless transfer between PV, battery, mains and a generator source, so connected equipment sees clean, stable AC power even during grid outages, voltage fluctuation or frequency deviation.
Six variants match different site sizes. The Solar 3B3 10K, 15K and 20K share the same 350×682×1046 mm cabinet, the 30K and 40K use a 430×865×1100 mm cabinet, and the 60K extends to 720×710×1400 mm. Recommended PV input per cabinet reaches 14.56, 21.84, 29.12, 50.96 and 72.8 kW respectively, with a 498 V maximum DC voltage and a 416 V rated DC voltage that fit a wide range of string layouts.
Battery input uses high-voltage LFP (LiFePO4) packs at a 409.6 VDC rated voltage, with 100 Ah capacity configurable as required. The BMS-managed smart charging strategy supports a 0.5 C maximum charging current and a 1 C rated discharge current, and the cells are rated for a 6000-cycle design life at the cell level, which keeps the long-term cost of battery ownership predictable across the family.
Output is three-phase five-wire at 380/400/415 V ±1%, 50/60 Hz, with a 0.8 output power factor and total harmonic distortion under 2% on linear load. Maximum output current on the 380 VAC tap ranges from 15 A on the 10K to 92 A on the 60K. Maximum system efficiency reaches 92.6%, and up to six units can be paralleled for higher power or N+1 redundancy.
Communication options include RS485, RS232, a dry-contact interface and an optional SNMP card, all viewable on the front-panel LCD. Operating temperature spans 0 °C to +40 °C, noise stays below 58 dB and maximum operating altitude is 1500 m, with 0–95% non-condensing humidity tolerance. The new family is sized for the realities of distributed energy sites where diesel runtime needs to be cut and where grid quality is beyond operator control.
