HG Extends Solar 3B3 PV Generator Line to 600kVA

HV Group has extended its Solar 3B3 PV Generator family from the original six models (10-60kVA) to a full 10-600kVA range. The cabinet still does one job: it integrates a PV inverter, high-voltage LFP storage and an online UPS onto a single shared DC bus, so a site gets clean, uninterrupted AC from a single box. What is new is the ceiling - one product line now covers a remote farm at 10kVA and an industrial park or microgrid at 600kVA, with no change in architecture.

From six models to eighteen

The original launch covered 10K, 15K, 20K, 30K, 40K and 60K. The extended catalogue adds a medium tier of 80K, 100K, 120K, 160K, 200K and 300K, then a large tier of 400K, 500K and 600K. At the top end, the 600K unit accepts a recommended PV input of up to 720.72 kW, delivers a maximum output current of up to 608 A at 380 V, and ships in a cabinet up to 2580 x 1000 x 1900 mm weighing as much as 3244 kg. Maximum efficiency stays above 92% across the whole family (above 92.6% on the smaller and medium models).

One architecture, every scale

The value is not the bigger number - it is that the large units share the same electrical DNA as the smallest one. Every model uses thyristor phase-controlled rectification, a standard output isolation transformer and dual-DSP digital control. Every model outputs 380 / 400 / 415 V +/-1% at 50/60 Hz, holds output voltage THD below 2% on linear load, and switches between PV, battery, mains and generator in 0 ms. The battery input is high-voltage LFP (LiFePO4) at 409.6 VDC with a 6000-cycle design life, and every unit speaks RS485, RS232, dry contact and an optional SNMP card.

Scale with the customer, not against them

A remote farm can start at 10kVA and grow as its solar resource and load grow. A telecom site, a cold-storage facility or an industrial park can specify 200kVA, 400kVA or 600kVA on the same platform, and up to six units can be paralleled for higher capacity or N+1 redundancy. Because the conversion chain, the monitoring bus and the battery chemistry are identical, spares, commissioning knowledge and service procedures carry across the entire range.

Why it matters for buyers

Most sites do not need 600kVA on day one, but they do need a supplier whose roadmap will still fit in three years. Specifying from a 10-600kVA family means the second cabinet you add is the same product you already trust, not a different vendor's box with a different battery and a different communication protocol. For EPCs and distributors, that continuity is what turns a one-off cabinet into a repeatable specification.
